English abstract:
Stress distributions ahead of crack tip for finite-width center cracked specimens loaded by two segments of distributed stresses on the crack are evaluated by means of the finite element method (FEM). Close agreement between the numerical results and the stress distributions assumed using the force balance method (FBM) demonstrates the usefulness of the corresponding geometric correction factor derived by FBM.
