English abstract:
In this paper, thermochemomechanical couplings in shotcrete and their significance with regards to the New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM) are addressed. On the basis of a chemothermal Finite Element analysis of the Sieberg tunnel in Lower Austria, the reasons for cracking of shotcrete tunnel shells are shortly discussed.
