English abstract:
This paper reports on the development of a calculation scheme for error-controlled adaptive analyses of reinforced concrete structures. The main ingredients of this scheme are an error estimator, a mesh generator, and an algorithm for the transfer of variables from the old to the new, adapted finite element mesh. The calculation scheme is used for adaptive analysis of a reinforced concrete cooling tower. The influence of the user-prescribed error threshold on the numerical results is investigated.
