English abstract:
The objective of this paper is the calculation of dynamic stresses of mainly one-dimensional structures under transient loading by means of the transfer matrix method. The Newmark method reduces the dynamic problem to the stepwise solution of a related modified static problem. The transfer matrix method is applied to the static problem and the arising numerical difficulties are overcome by equivalent stiffness matrices and reduced load vectors. A dynamic coefficient of the bending moment is defined to characterize the additional dynamic stresses the structure is exposed to. The example of a chain of slabs viscoelastically founded, elastically coupled at joints, and subjected to moving loads illustrates the proposed method. Calculations based on parameters describing a concrete paved road passed over by a full trailer combination show that the calculated dynamic coefficient does not exceed 10 percent even at high speed (30 m/s).
