Kurzfassung englisch:
In this paper a numerical simulation model for hydraulic hoses reinforced by textile braids is presented. The components of the hose structure consisting of rubber as the matrix material and textile reinforcements are considered separately in the finite element simulation. For the description of the hyperelastic behaviour of rubber, well-known material models based on a potential function have been used. The textile reinforcement is represented by rebar elements. Their mechanical behaviour is accounted for by means of a so-called fabric lattice model. The developed analysis model is calibrated and verified by means of collapse load analyses of regular sections of hydraulic hoses and of numerical simulations of the crimping of a hose fitting.
