"Nutrient Management from Point Source Control to Global Perspective";
Keynote Lecture: 5th IWA World Water Congress, Beijing; 2006-09-12; in: "Technical Programme - Keynote Presentations", (2006), Paper ID http://www.iwa2006beijing.com/uploads/conference_graphics/beijing2006/programme/keynotes/Kroiss_Keynote.pdf, 50 pages.

English abstract:
Nature´s detrimental response to humanmade, steadily increasing nutrient fluxes is manifold, strongly depending on local and regional circumstances and on global relevance for water quality. Improved management of nutrient fluxes requires improved knowledge, technology and lifestyle changes involving nutrient removal from wastewater and diffuse source management. This has implications for agricultural and environmental policy and even nutrition habits.
