"Historical Gardens in Japan";
Talk: Universität Brno, Brno; 2001-04-26.

English abstract:
Japanese gardens are fascinating for many reasons, including aspects of art, architecture,
science, engineering, history, philosophy and horticulture. The Japanese garden tradition goes
back to the period where advanced methods of rice production were introduced in Japan,
roughly in the 3rd century.
