English abstract:
The Quantity of sound transmission between adjacent rooms depends not only on the sound insulation characteristics of the partition element (wall or ceiling) but also on the construction and geometry of the flanking building elements. A number of models have been introduced recently in order to enable the designer to calculate the sound transmission between rooms on the basis of geometry and construction data. These models consider the direct sound transmission as well as the flanking transmission paths. The study presented here pertains to a comparative analysis of four models of computation of the sound-level difference between adjacent rooms (in massive building constructions). The comparison was based on data derived from "virtual" constructions as well as measurements. A statistical analysis of the relative deviations of the results and the correlation between calculation and measurement data are presented.
