Kurzfassung englisch:
Poesis doctrinae tamquam somnium [p. 184]
Jormakka offers a careful exposition of the foundations in ancient Greek philosophy for the problematic of architectural representation. Architects don't make buildings, he states, they make representations of buildings. Instead of uncritically accepting naive standpoints that new computer software programs are capable of 'accurate' and 'real' representations of architectural objects, Jormakka provides an exegesis of the Platonic Formcopy distinction that underpins all attempts at 'simulation'.
