Kurzfassung englisch:
Shopping centres have a large impact on spatial development. It is obvious that they change the urban and functional structure on the spot. Moreover they influence the social and technical utility infrastructure in a much larger dimension. Thus this consequence of shopping centres should be considered in the planning process. It is for the public benefit but also in the interest of the private investor.
