English abstract:
The aim of this paper is to present a practical approach to batch process scheduling. The combination of a proven scheduling tool supplemented by user written scheduling rules and custom check facilities creates a powerful system for finite capacity scheduling. Focusing on the issues Reactive Scheduling and Mixed Initiative Scheduling (Prietula et al., 1994) leads to a scheduling result, which allows easy adjustments to the fast changing production environment with its constraints. The aim of the described project was creating a schedule as good as possible, but more important ensuring its changeability in terms of adjustment or new order insertion.
