"Development, simulation and stress analysis of a rope trash rake machine for Small Hydropower Plants";
Supervisor: H. Matthias, E. Doujak; Institut für Wasserkraftmaschinen und Pumpen, 2005.

English abstract:
The aim of this work is the development (construction), simulation of the handling and motion of the machine and based on this results the stress analysis of the main components of this rope trash rake machine. This type of machine is often used at Small Hydropower stations to clean the trash rake. Special emphasis should be layed on a parametrization of the 3D-construction to verify a faster and easier change to diffenerent dimensions of this machine. The whole work will be realized within the software package of SolidWorks with the modules SolidWorks (Construction & Development), CosmosMotion (Handling & Motion) and CosmosWorks (Stress analysis).
