English abstract:
This paper deals with a simulation model designed in DymolaTM. The goal of the calculations with this simulation model is to find a hybrid drivetrain for asport utility vehicle (SUV) that has a better driving performance in full load accelerations with a downsizing concept of the internal combustion engine (ICE) than the reference vehicle - an SUV with a six-cylinder diesel engine. Therefore, different drivetrain configurations are analyzed with regard to their driving performance. Furthermore, various configurations of hybrids are simulated. The drivetrain with the best driving performance - a drivetrain having two induction machines - is then analyzed with regard to the fuel consumption in two different standardized driving cycles.
