Kurzfassung englisch:
This paper presents the results of a study of five office buildings in Austria with regard to users´ assessment of both systems control options and prevailing indoor environmental conditions. A number of occupants in each building were interviewed to document their perception regarding indoor environment, operation of systems, functionality of systems controls, and energy implications of their control actions. Altogether 68 occupants in these five buildings were interviewed. The results allow for the evaluation of the relative importance of design and operation features of buildings´ environmental control systems as perceived by the users.
