English abstract:
A demonstrator of the possibilities of the composite casting of steel and sluminium (direct pressure locking and form-fit) similar to the component was presented. An overview of the strategies for the simulation of the internal stresses occuring during solidification and of the mechanical behaviour when stressing the composite casting component was provided. An important aspect of the simulation strategy is the taking into account of thermal contact conductivity at the interface of steel and aluminium dependent upon the contact pressure and a potential gap formation. The mechanical and the thermal problem are thereby completely coupled.
Ont eh whole it was possible to predict the real mechanical behaviour of the component with the simulation. However, the simulation overestimated the torque necessary to produce an initial relative movement between the steel insert and the casting nodes.
