"Current Research at the Complang Group: Timing Analyses and More";
Talk: Forschungskolloquium des Research Institute for Symbolic Computation RISC, Johannes-Kepler-Universität Linz, Hagenberg bei Linz (invited); 2008-12-01.

English abstract:
The Complang Group at TU Vienna pursues research in the broad field of programming languages and compilers. In this talk we will provide an overview of current research projects followed by a more in-depth presentation of the recent research activities on timing analyses for real-time systems. The focus of this part of the presentation will be on research pursued in the EU FP7 project ALL-TIMES and the FWF project CoSTA on advanced compiler support for timing analyses of embedded real-time systems. We will highlight the objectives of these projects, recent achievements, and future research directions. In particular, we will show connecting links to future research collaborations.

This work has been partially supported by the 7th EU R&D Framework Programme under contract No 215068 within the project "ALL-TIMES: Integrating European Timing Analysis Technology" and by the Austrian Science Fund (Fonds zur Förderung der wissenschaftlichen Forschung) under contract No P18925-N13 within the project "CoSTA: Compiler Support for Timing Analysis."

Keywords:
Timing analysis, real-time systems, worst-case execution time analysis.
