Kurzfassung englisch:
Phosphorus based coupling agents (P-CAs) comprising different chain lengths were prepared via a multistep synthesis approach. P-CAs were used for modification of zirconia nanometer sized particles and investigated towards bonding (IR and 31P MAS NMR), surface coverage (TGA) and surface properties (nitrogen sorption at 77 K).
Results suggest that bonding of P-CAs is of covalent character. Furthemore it was found that different chain lengths influence the surface properties significantly.
