English abstract:
The contribution compares the linear Age-Period-Cohort model with a nonlinear model proposed by the author. The nonlinearity permits to evaluate the marginal drift, which is introduced to quantify the impact of explanatories on housing choice in the long-run. Using Austrian housing data the tendencies towards potential segregration can be assessed.

Der Beitrag befaßt sich mit einem Vergleich linearer versus nichtlinearer Kohortenmodelle. Als Alternative zum Standardmodell APC schlägt der Autor ein nichtlineares Modell vor, welches den längerfristigen Einfluß von Charakteristiken mittels einer marginalen Drift zu erfassen gestattet. Die Drift erlaubt, die Tendenzen zur sozialen Segregation im Sozialmietsektor zu quantifizieren.
