Kurzfassung englisch:
Solvatochromic Lewis-Acid and Lewis-Base Indicators have been developed using mixed ligand complexes like [Fe(phen)2(CN)2] and [Cu(tmen)(acac)]+ to measure Acceptor Numbers (AN) and Donor-Numbers (DN) successfully invented quite some time from Viktor Gutmann. The concept has been used to establish Acceptor Numbers for Cations and Donor Numbers for Anions.
