English abstract:
Material properties used in Finite Elements Analysis of a range of inhomogeneous materials, including biomaterials, are often evaluated from nanoindentation measurements. These material properties assigned to each element are a crucial factor in models validation - especially for hierarchical structured materials, like mineralized tissues. This study shows the differences in the elastic properties of animal model tissue - mineralized turkey leg tendon (MTLT) - evaluated from nano and microindentation using protocols with different final indentation depth and different hydration states.
