English abstract:
The paper explains the development and validation of a
lean order control concept in the context of a turbulent
market environment. Special emphasis is put on handling
of an increasing number of variants, decreasing lot sizes
and high demand fluctuation at the same time. The concept
has been validated by an implementation in a medium-
sized manufacturer of precision part in small and
medium-sized batches.

Keywords:
Factory and production planning, adaptive manufacturing
