Kurzfassung englisch:
Measuring the acoustic properties of noise-reducing devices is an important prerequisite for efficient noise protection along major transport routes. For the in-situ evaluation of the reflection characteristics of noise barriers, the so-called Adrienne method has been introduced in the European Technical Specification CEN/TS 1793-5. In autumn 2009, acoustic measurements were performed by AIT investigating the influence of different measurement hardware, in particular 2 amplifier/loudspeaker systems, on the reflection properties of the device under test. The measurements were carried out on aluminium noise barriers with a flat surface.
