"Implementation of practice-orientated IT-Systems for knowledge based configuration and design of customised products.";
in: "Proceedings of The 43th CIRP International Conference on Manufacturing Systems - CIRP ICMS 2010", herausgegeben von: Cirp Icms 2010; Neuer wissenschaftlicher Verlag, Wien, 2010, ISBN: 978-3-7083-0686-5, S. 1060 - 1069.

Kurzfassung deutsch:
Due to the increasing demand for individual product
solutions, there is an increased need for practicable
concepts and IT support for fast product configuration
and design. The knowledge of possible design options
and basic conditions is of great significance in the
conception of this type of support. The paper presents
the first results of a research study which deals with the
systematic discussion of these questions and has as its
goal the integrated conception as well as the practicable
launch of knowledge based applications for engineering
design.
