English abstract:
Data storage within the cloud is increasingly becoming an option for the outsourcing and extension of corporate and private IT infrastructures. However, the evaluation of existing (i) data storage providers and (ii) software solutions allowing the access to the storage reveals performance, security and privacy issues. Beside the evaluation of existing solutions, this work defines the requirements and the design for a secure and high-performing cloud storage access client based on state-of-the art encryption and pseudonymization mechanisms.
