English abstract:
In this paper, we propose an antenna array for the reader of an ultra-wideband radio frequency identification tag (UWB RFID). The manufactured UWB RFID prototype with a size of 1x1.3mm^2 which features an on-chip antenna (OCA), transmits UWB pulses modulated with on-off keying (OOK). Utilization of an antenna array at the reader yields gain and offers possibility for rough positioning of the tiny tag. We analyze and discuss the design of the UWB RFID tag, and our proposed design for a multi-antenna reader. Based on the measured power spectral density of the signal, we propose a method for estimating pulse repetition interval.
