English abstract:
In this paper we demonstrate the results of the implementation of an integrated simulation approach for a specific industrial facility. The analysis of production processes and energy flows within the existing facility will be used for modeling the different levels of energy flows; starting from machines and production systems, user behavior and building services related requirements, to the building envelope and the micro environment of the facility. The models will be assembled and the optimization options demonstrated. The integrated simulation is one of the main aims of the research project INFO (Interdisciplinary Research for Energy Efficiency in Production) at the Vienna University of Technology.
