English abstract:
In automotive applications more and more stringent emission regulations and the desire to reduce fuel consumption lead to an increasing demand for efficient and re-liable modelling tools. In this work a robust and efficient local model network training algorithm is presented. The incremental model construction allows to gradually in-crease the model complexity and is thus applicable for both offline und online train-ing. In this context, online training includes the adjustment, refinement and extension of the already trained model with new data during the testbed run. Such a model can then be used for optimal model based design of experiments. The proposed con-cepts are validated by means of an illustrative example and real measurement data.
