English abstract:
Scholars as users of cartographic products have different abilities to acquire and process spatial information from cartographic presentations. They exhibit different learning styles and can therefore be classified in different types of learners. Today´s teaching aids often address only some or just one of those learning types, whereas others are disregarded. A Cartographic Atlas Information System as a tool for geographic education allows for an adjustment to scholars as a user group. So the spatial information can be communicated in multiple ways to ensure that different types of learners understand and retain the information. The article identifies the basics of learning psychology and presents a concept of a user group adaptable interactive and multimedia Atlas Information System.
