"Creating a Habitat Without Territory: New Values, New Commons";
Talk: Creating a Habitat Without Territory: New Values, New Commons, Austrian Cultural Forum, New York (invited); 2011-03-24.

English abstract:
The issues of Austrian artist Barbara Holub's new art project and first "non-territorial habitat" on Windows on Madison will be discussed with Barbara Holub, Jaroslav Andel (curator of Windows on Madison and Artistic Director at DOX Centre for Contemporary Art, Prague), Kristian Nammack (patron, collections consultant), Shamina De Gonzaga (Director of World Council of Peoples for the United Nations). The discussion moderated by Olympia Kazi, Director of the Van Alen Institute, will explore the idea of "shares" of the non-territorial habitat as a new form of collecting, as parts of a collective piece of art: What does it mean to collect art as process, partaking in the development of the habitat?
