English abstract:
The loss of green areas and soils in the cities as a result of the construction of buildings has many negative effects for example: recreation and natural areas are reduced, agricultural land and soils are lost, rainwater can infiltrate not more freely,
outside air temperature, relative humidity, air quality and local climate be adversely influenced by lack of vegetation. The article brings the situation, options and comparison of solar applications with green roofs in Slovakia and Austria.
