English abstract:
Laser-assistedbendingisanefficientproductionmethodoflightweightand/orhighstrengthparts.ItenablesbendingofAl-,Mg-,Ti-,andcertainsteelalloysbyheatingthebendinglineshortlybeforeandduringthebendingprocess.Twosolutionsintegratedinthelowertoolofabendingmachineareavailable:firstwithdiodelasers,secondwithopticssuppliedbyanexternalfibercoupledsolidstatelaser.ExperimentsshowthatlaserassistedbendingofAl-partsneedstheuseofanabsorptionlayerlikegraphite.Incaseofhighstrengthsteelsanaccuratetemperaturecontrolisnecessaryandsomesteel-alloyslosestrengthduetothisprocess.Mg-andTi-alloyscanbebentwiththisnewmethodusuallywithoutcomplications.Furtherthisnewproductionmethodisanenergysavingmethodforbendingofbrittlemetalsandtheeaseofoperation,whichcanbecomparedwithsimplecold-bending,anditallowsgoingnewwaysinconstructionandproductionoflightweightparts
