English abstract:
This paper presents the evaluation of the BIM-supported interdisciplinary planning
process within the scope of research project INFO (Interdisciplinary Research for Energy
Efficiency in Production). The research project INFO introduces a holistic approach to the
design of energy efficient production facility, incorporating the analysis and simulation of the
different levels of energy flows: from micro- (machine) till macro level (building). A parametric
data-rich digital model of energy-efficient production facility was compiled using different
BIM-tools. Through automated export-process, the information implemented in this model
was used for further number of simulations such as thermal-, structural- and life-cycle costing-
simulation; and evaluated through scenario based design method. Finally, a way of producing
and processing building information models serving a multitude of purposes throughout
the entire life cycle of a building will be presented
