Kurzfassung englisch:
The interest for Mannich bases containing antipyrine as active group is mainly due to their potential pharmaceutical activity. Also, there have been many reports on some metal complexes of antipyrine and its derivatives exhibiting anti-tumor and anti-pyretic properties. Therefore, the synthesis, structural aspects and spectroscopic features of new copper and cobalt complexes with the Mannich base ligands N,N´-bis(antipyrylmethyl)-piperazine [BAMP] and N,N´-tetra(antipyryl-4-methyl)-1,2-diaminoethane [TAMEN] will be presented. The structure of the complexes is generally defined by the bulky binucleating ligands.
