Kurzfassung englisch:
Starting from simple tetrazoles we synthesized bridging alkyl-ditetrazoles forming chain-type polynuclear Fe(II)-complexes (e.g. Fe(enditz)3(BF4)2). As their spin-crossover behaviour is dependent on the length of the bridging alkyl chain we can tune this feature by varying the length of the alkyl spacer. By changing substituents on the alkyl side-chain the spin transition temperature can be shifted.
