English abstract:
In order to ensure high productivity in manufacturing systems efficient maintenance processes are preconditions. This paper, a value stream approach in two-steps to optimize maintenance processes, is presented. The first step is the development of a standard for the sequence of process steps in the implementation of various maintenance tasks. With this logical design, keyfigures can be generated and areas of improvement are getting visible. Based on that standard and on the method Value Stream Mapping, a new approach to analyze and optimize maintenance processes is presented. Shorter lead times and more efficient maintenance processes are the result.
