This thesis is in the current research area of eHealth, mHealth and pHealth. The first part introduces the basic terms. The actors, services and processes of eHealth were identified through literature research in order to determine the extent of the usage of this app.
Wound documentation is an essential component of wound management and is important for the qualitative evaluation of the healing process. In this thesis, an Android app was developed, which provides the functionality of an existing algorithm for image analysis on smart phones.
As part of the detailed domain analysis, the technical and functional requirements of medical apps for wound identification were identified.
Based on this analysis, a prototype was developed to serve as a basis for further studies.
With this prototype, system architecture was designed to address the problem on a holistic level. Wound images are thus calibrated, segmented and measured by the given image analysis algorithm.
In a brief evaluation of the prototype, some strengths and weaknesses of the implementation and possible solutions could be identified.

Die vorliegende Arbeit ist im aktuellen Forschungsbereich von eHealth, mHealth und pHealth positioniert. Zunächst werden die Grundlagen und Begriffe erläutert und anhand einer umfassenden Literaturrecherche die Akteure, Services und Prozesse des eHealth identifiziert. Der Fokus dieser Diplomarbeit liegt auf der Wunddokumentation, die essentieller Bestandteil des Wundmanagements und wichtig für die qualitative Bewertung des Wundheilungsprozesses ist. Als Aufgabenstellung wurde eine Android App entwickelt, die die Funktionalitäten eines bereits existierenden Algorithmus zur Bildanalyse für Smartphones zur Verfügung stellt.
Um das konkrete Einsatzumfeld dieser App bestimmen zu können, wurden im Zuge der detaillierten Domänenanalyse die technischen und fachlichen Anforderungen an eine medizinische App zur Wundidentifikation erhoben.
Aufgrund dieser Analyse wurde ein Prototyp entwickelt, der als Basis für weitere Studien dienen soll.
Um das Problem auf einer ganzheitlichen Ebene zu lösen, wurde mit diesem Prototypen eine modulare Systemarchitektur entworfen. Die Wundbilder werden durch den Bildanalysealgorithmus kalibriert, segmentiert und vermessen. In einer abschließenden Evaluierung des Prototyps konnten einige Stärken und Schwächen der Implementierung sowie mögliche Lösungswege aufgezeigt werden.
