Kurzfassung englisch:
Governments and the EU institutions are working with citizens to identify and test ways of policy- shaping process involvement. ICT provides different tools, which enables citizens to get access to information systems. This enables them to take part in a decision-making process; this includes two general questions, how will this affect their lives, and how the decision-making process is implemented. Internet, mobile phones and other interactive devices can be used to channel information to citizens and canvass their views. It is also good for the cohesion of any society because participation promotes a sense of ownership in the political process. In this paper we explored concepts of e-participation at a case study of mobile phone apps.
