Kurzfassung englisch:
Pollution can be limited in many different ways, however the most applicable one seems to be limiting burning fossil fuels, especially in the most polluted areas such as the Silesia region. To achieve this goal it is necessary to insulate buildings at the fastest possible rate so that they require less energy. However, this may lead to many unwanted effects which are emphasized in the paper hereby. To eliminate these aftermath effects or at least to minimize them, it is necessary to seek for information technology support. Therefore, the paper highlights the problem of supporting environmental issues by means of implementing information solutions in the field of building insulation. This approach is supported by the theoretical study of the dedicated software which is to be developed to meet the assumptions.
