English abstract:
The advanced control of residential homes is a topic widely discussed in the smart home community. In systems operating the environment on behalf of residents, especially the representation of regular user behavior is crucial in order to achieve a greater comfort while optimizing energy efficiency. In this context, profile-based techniques have been proven useful to capture situations and detect regular patterns. To integrate profile data in an autonomous control system it is necessary to depict the influences of human behavior on applications and processes. Therefore, the representation of user profile information and the knowledge of its influence on optimization tasks need to be considered. This paper proposes an ontology designed for this purpose. The modeled vocabulary can be seen as a basic description of user habits and their impact on applications in the smart home and represents a foundational layer for autonomous smart home operation.
