Sweave, knitr, RStudio, R Markdown
Literate programming tools make research and analysis reproducible. All code, analysis, and interpretation are placed in one document, and graphics, tables, etc. are automatically produced by using tools for creating dynamical reports such as Sweave, brew or knitr. Similar to mixing R with LaTeX, R markdown allows to create dynamic web reports from R that can be automatically updated when the underlying code or data changes.
Moreover, by using a suitable programming environment like RStudio or eclipse, all important programs to use are placed in one editor takes care about R, LaTeX, Sweave, subversion, highlighting, code completion, etc.
