English abstract:
R for interactive teaching

The importance of teaching statistics in school, university and in enterprises has grown over the last years. Visualisation tools help to understand complex relationships, interactive figures show the effects of parameter changes, animations give further insights to theoretical ideas, models or methods.

In addition, interactive teaching tools help to communicate with students or course participants through computer assisted exercise examples. Feedback can be derived directly from user input.

We will show how the students may benefit from interactivity, animations and computer assisted learning and give practical examples.
