English abstract:
In her keynote talk, Geraldine will suggest that while the perception of quality of experience might require some minimum objective level of system performance, this is only a necessary but not sufficient condition for understanding the experience of quality. Drawing on a number of examples, she will illustrate ways in which the actual lived experience of that systems performance is also subjectively mediated, through the embedding in specific contexts and through our embodiment in the world
