Spatial Planning in Austria - a multi-level governmental
system
The paper gives a comprehensive overview of the Spatial Planning
System in Austria, concentrating on the legal framework and the formal
(legally binding) instruments. Informal instruments and approaches
which play a signifi cant role in the Austrian Planning system are
not discussed.
