Kurzfassung englisch:
In this presentation step-scan FTIR spectrosocpy will be introduced as a novel way for the characterisation of mid-IR quantum cascade lasers. Application in gas sensing using open-path as well as quartz enhanced photoacoustic detection will be shown. Furthermore a method for measuring oil-in-water based on QCL technology will be shown. Finally first results on near-field MIR imaging using QCLs combined with atomic force microscopy will be introduced.
