In this contribution, we give an update on the distorted antenna pattern measurements reported in TD(14)09048. According to the recommendations we received in February 2014 in Ferrara we re-measured the antenna characteristics without any cables by means of a battery-driven oscillator. Additionally, we built dielectric support structures made of Rohacell IG31-F and carried out comparative measurements. The truncation effects on the measurement sphere are discussed in some detail, as well as simulation results. We present a measurement-based comparison of the antenna using different orientations in the chamber and describe a comparison method.
