English abstract:
By using automated simulation calibration, simulation models can be optimized periodically to
decrease deviations in simulation model and real world situation based on runtime measurements from a monitoring
system. This paper describes algorithms´ to perform such an automated calibration process. The proposed
layer-based structure of the calibration framework allows simple component exchangeability and expandability,
such as implementations for different simulation and optimization tools. The proposed approach
currently allows for calibration of constant model variables (e.g. U-value of a wall) and provides the basis for
further implementations such as calibration of time depended variables (e.g. schedule of light usage).
