The lecture points out the legal aspects of data protection in times of massive internet surveillance performed by secret services of various states and big data usage performed by online companies and tries to give hints referring to better protection of personal data.

Der Vortrag zeigt die technikrechtliche Problematik konsequenten Datenschutzes im Zeitalter des Kontrollverlusts (Geheimdienste, Online-Unternehmen, Big Data, Internet of Things) auf und gibt Anregungen für eine Verbesserung des persönlichen Datenschutzes.
