English abstract:
This work presents modelling and simulation of CIGS solar modules. The simulations are based on
hybrid model approach, which splits the simulation into two separate models: on the material and on the module
level. The result of using this simulation method is that the module orientation, shape and bending profile could be
completely arbitrary, while keeping the simulation time and computing resources on a reasonable level. The curvature
of the module is simulated by scaling the intensity of the light, based on incident angle of the light ray on each local
point of the module, thus keeping the simple straight geometry in the simulation. The application of the proposed
simulation method was demonstrated on the example of convexly curved 0.5 m2 module, with the east-west
orientation. Specifying the location and day, the daily power yield of such a module can be estimated.
