English abstract:
The "Smart City Profiles" aim at supporting a forward-looking and evidence-based strategic planning. City profiles will reveal the specific opportunities and threats that will confront cities on their innovation journey towards an energy-efficient development. Deliverable 2.1 analyses city performance on key fields and domains in a European perspective and in comparison. Moreover, the profiles allow for benchmarking in order to look for good practices and to gain specific input for WP3-5 of the PLEEC project.
