English abstract:
Carbon-fiber composites have replaced metals as construction material in automotive and aeronautics due to their mechanical strength and lightweight. The electrical properties of these compounds are anisotropic, frequency dependent, and vary with production techniques and processed materials. Waveguide measurements together with the Nicolson-Ross-Weir (NRW) equations are utilized to obtain the anisotropic electrical permittivity, magnetic permeability and electrical conductivity of two CFC materials with different carbon-fiber alignment. These electrical properties are obtained in the range from 4GHz to 6GHz and include 5.9GHz for ITS G5.
